SUMMARY OF THIS PROJECT: Between 2006 and 2008, FMP assisted the deaf school feeding programme in Virginia.
KEY BENEFICIARIES OF PROJECT: 100 children (6-25 years old)
GOAL OF PROJECT: To provide two meals to all students, every day, at the School for the Deaf.
KEY ACTIVITIES OF THIS PROJECT: FMP assisted in providing food, cooking utensils and all necessary equipment, to ensure that feeding centre staff gave pupils nutritious meals. The school employed cooks and well qualified nutrition staff, to prepare the menu and food.
IMPACT OF PROJECT: All children at the School for the Deaf received regular food.
